This year we are running a special programme for the first time: bringing together our classic mushroom retreat programme, featuring plenty of preparation and integration support, embodiement and creative activities, with a reforestation and land care programme.
We believe that self care and spiritual healing is interweaved with caring for this Earth that sustains us, and that working together with a purpose, planting and caring for trees that will outlive us and suppor future ecosystems is a powerful way to create meaning in a time where it can be hard to find a worthwhile cause to support.
Our area of Portugal has been affected by severe wild fires, the last one in September 2025 having left a mark on our mountains. The land and home of Katy, who has hosted many of our retreats in the past, has been affected and a lot of her outside infrastrucure and trees have burned. So we want to help, and you can help us too.
After all, mushrooms are the friends of the forests, and it is time for us to embody this message as well.
So come and join us, let's roll our sleeves together and do something good for ourselves and for this land. We will work with a permaculture and syntropic forestry expert to bring life to the land, and of course will combine the reforestation with our classic programme of preparation, integration, microdosing and two mushroom ceremonies.
We are aiming to keep this retreat very budget friendly by favouring camping accomodation and work exchange, so you're warmly invited to come and share the community vibe with us !
What is included ?
7 days of shared or private accommodation in a historic mountain home and permaculture project with a natural pool, hills to hike on and starry night skies.
One microdose circle to introduce the medicine, weave in the group’s collective energy and prepare for the ceremony.
2x full dose introspective ceremonies led by a team of four experienced facilitators in our tipi tent in the forest, with live music.
One on one consultation before the ceremony to bring personalised therapeutic support and individualised dosage recommendations.
Sharing circles and integration workshops after each ceremony to process the experiences and harness their transformative potential, with further individual support available when needed.
Two half days on collective action on the land led by our local syntropic forestry and permaculture guide Elvira: getting our hands in the soil and working together to plant trees, build soil, care for the waterways, creating a lasting local impact.
Delicious, home-cooked vegetarian buffet meals served twice a day by our local chefs.
Optional excursion to nearby rivers for wild swims !
Plenty of personal attention from our team of 4 experienced facilitators with diverse backgrounds and skills.
Plenty of time off between the programme's activities to wind down from our busy lives and relax, tune into yourself, enjoy the peaceful natural setting and make this week a regenerative stay.
Personalised guidance on preparation and integration via one on one consultations before and after the retreat and a group integration call, as well as a preparation and integration resource pack.

We have several prices depending on the type of accomodation
850 euros if you bring your own tent
900 euros for shared bell tent accomodation
1000 for shared room accomodation
1500 euros for private room
